I'm installing a valve cover off a TRX 200 with manual compression release on a 200S. Not sure if it's a TRX but that really doesn't matter.

Stock, a 200S has a automatic one.

What I want to know is with motor off & running, which one of these two positions (3:00 0r 6:00) in pictures would it be in? I have a feeling it should be in the 3:00 position?

With it in the compression mode does the handle face straight up then? In other words the rubber part would be at 12:00 ?

3:00 oclock

The trx fit?????? You used the right rocker correct? Why did you go to manual if you have auto, and can do it swap rocker, and stick with auto. It is a true pain to keep useing the manual.

I disagree, the auto is a pain when it goes bad in the recoil and would much rather keep it a simpiler set up with the maual.

Many don't even use the auto once it breaks.

Why would that be such a pain. Start it once and your off!

Ah to each their own then. I prefer auto. I have manual on 200x what a pain to reach down. I guess recoil isnt too bad, but, for my kid it is because she doesnt get it with first pull. One less thing to flick when starting the trike.

Off and running at the same time?

From some other pictures I've seen, the lever should be at 3:00 and turned up to 12:00 for manual decompression.

Yea, the off (engine off I meant) the lever should be in the same position 3:00 as when it's running 3:00. Only 12:00 position when engaged. I just wanted to make sure.
