200x to 350x ?

Hello everyone. I’ve been lurking around for a long time but this is my first post. I have an 83 200x that I have been restoring and this weekend it locked up. It didn’t leave me stranded though just as the front tire pulled into the garage I heard the loud clank sound and new it was bad. So now the question I have is what to do. I could rebuild the 200x but for the amount of money it would take it wouldn’t be that much of a difference to buy a 350x or 250r? My best friend has a 350x and in the woods the 200x is fine but I sure hate that grin on his face when we get to any stretch of open land. So now I can’t decide what to do. I like the 350x’s power but the size difference from what I’m use to riding has me worried that I would miss the smaller trike? I ride mostly woods and trails so the 250r wouldn’t really be suited for the environment even though I would love to have one. So it seems like I have three options buy another 200x and have a parts trike or buy a 350x or just rebuild what I have? All of you that have stepped up to a 350x what’s your thoughts? I just can’t decide? Any thought would be appreciated.

I think you would like the 350x, I love mine it is great in the woods and trails.

both machines are very good in the trails but the 200X in way more docile to handle than the 350X but you also gain suspension travel, power and rider room on the 350X. I have a buddy with a 350X and we call it the tractor cuz it will lug over anything that has been put in front of it.

I kind of feel like its a tractor when i ride my friends 350x. I cant man handle it around like the 200x but my friend thinks once i get use to it. i would be fine? I'm just afraid i would miss the little trike.

get a 350x, they have a way nicer ride, a heck of alot better for hitting jumps, tons more power, alot more room to sit down and resituate for power slides.

Do you wana go fast? If so get the 200x.

I can take my 200x faster through the TIGHT trails that the 350x. As soon as a straight section comes the 350 is defently better. It all depends on how tight the trails you ride are. You would defently get used to the size of the 350.

thanks for all the replys i picked up a 86 350x over the weekend and you guys are right there is no comparing the two trikes. i am very very happy. It should me real quick when it put me on my @$$ that its not its little brother. its a beast and a the king on the trails
