1986 225 DRS. Seen it, had to have it, paid way too much for it. But it's 99% original, including the tires. Always stored inside & well maintained, don't find them in this condition around here very often.

Wow, that is nice. Congrats on such a good grab!

The 86's are fairly rare right?

Yeah, I see about five 85's for every one 86 I find. At least thats the ratio around my neck of the woods.

According to my Yamaha dealer, black or blue were the only colors available, yet both of my 86's are yellow. I think it might have something to do with these being Canadian trikes.

Who is that hiding behind the Tri Moto? Those colored parts are not that common on the yellow Tri Moto.Very nice looking 223 cc Tri Moto. You will have many years of enjoyment from you Tri Moto for they are very reliable. :Bounce :Bounce

Nice find. That is the 2nd yellow 86 I've seen, most of the 86 I 've seen were black/red with gold rims.

Actually, (correct me if I'm wrong) the DX was made from 83-86 & the DR was made in 85 & 86. A DR is basically a DX with reverse, also the rear shock on a DR looks like it has a heavier spring on it. (I might be wrong about that too)

No,1986 dx 3 wheeler,the heavier spring was a option.There was a 1986 YTM 200 DXS Moto 4 made.Never seen one though.

But they were not three wheelers. They did make a YTM 225 T Moto 4.
