I am a new visitor to 3 wheeler world , but I have been a guest for a while but anyway I have a question... My Yamaha DX has never been able to wheelie in 2nd gear unless I lean back and pull. Now I can blip the throttle and then roll on the throttle and then the front comes up. Whats the deal???

could be a fuel/air mixture problem.. something was maybe cloged up and cleared up now...

Blipping the throttle causes the fuel to slosh around in the tank and carb bowl. Maybe its developed an air leak? Ive seen loose connector on my CDI do weird things too, hard start and intermittient power losses. Check the spark plug color, that might tell you something.

Thanks for the help. Yeah iv'e checked the spark plug and it needs to be replaced. But my DR wouldn't start so I switched the plugs and now they start. Maybe it was the other plug that makes me wheelie easier.

You have gotten used to it. I couldnt wheelie my SXs without kneeling on the rear for like 6 months, and now I can almost wheelie in 4th sitting down.
