People who have an 85 tri-z can you post your engine mods and the jetting you have with the stock carb? pilot, needle and main. Thanks. :D

well my Z which is junk compared to everyone elses, goes like this.
jug ported. port unknown
060 piston
jet main 470 everything else stock
boyseen reeds
reeds spacer
LRD complete exhaust
K&N filter off the carb (no airbox)
heavy duty clutch and springs
i cant really think of anything else. but on the 86 Z i bought much more mods or at least what i can find and or get done ;)
i know everyone knows this bike enjoy again
just so there is no confusion that is a DG exhaust i sold it already. cant seem to find an other recent pic???

That is amazing you are running a 470 main with and open air filter! I run with just no lid on the stock air box and im to lean, and why is your Z junk??
ditch the stock carb for a 38mm flat slide :)

i need to get an aftermarker carb sooner or later. as for my Z ill never say my bike is better then yours. plus if you say you bike is nice or great someone always knocks it down. so if i say my beater Z has these mods i dont get any slack. plus i know what i have and dont care what anyone says!!!!!! but i would bend over backwards to help someone if i like ya lol

TriZ - DG Pipe, Boysen Power Reeds, Wiseco Stock bore, K&N Filter, Stock carb - 420 Main, Needle at leanest setting.
Quad-Z - White Bros. Pipe, Boysen Power Reeds, Wiseco .050" oversize, Uni Filter, Stock carb, 420 main, Needle at leanest setting.
I run N3C or B8ES plugs, usually B7ES Plugs for Trail riding.
I run Blue Marble at 50:1
