i have a yamaha 225dx 3 wheeler need a new left rear axle ant help would be great ty

You need a complete axle then, it is a single solid axle from end to end. Is yours bent or what? Depending on the bend, it might be possible to get it straightened.

ya its bent behind the hub
i would think it could be straightend
i dont know if heating it is a good idea ??? will it weeken the axle

My advice is to check with a local machine shop first. They can tell you if it is salvageable or not.
If needed I can possibly straighten it also. It all depends on how bad it's bent. I may also have a axle if needed.
But what ever you decide: DO NOT heat the axle to straighten it! This will weaken the axle. Been there done that on lawn mower gokart ( when I was a kid ). 20 minutes into riding and it bent and broke clean off.

i think it can be fixed i put a dial indicator on it
looks like it can be straightend this is my first go round with forums thanks all for advice

this bike has been converted to a four wheeler as well thought i might throw that in as well
