Hi all,

First time post. I've just upgraded from a postie bike (My first bike, Honda CT110) to a ATC185 (yah!).

Just wondering about suspension (as in it has none!) and whether or not you can put the front struts from a later ATC with suspension (like an ATC200) onto the front of a ATC185? Would the difference be greatly noticable?

Cheers!
Dave.

Yep, youre good for the front as you can bolt a pair of 185S suspended forks on it.

Back,.....sorry...maybe if it was still 1985 and we could go buy kits ;)

Biscuit,

Back in the day I had an ATC 185s like your's and I slipped on a pair of fork's from off of a 200s. They fit right up as far as I can remember. Just a helpful hint, grease the steering head bearing's while you got it all apart.

I have no idea why I keep sending double replies. This one will probably do it too. Stupid Navy computer's. Or probably just operator error!
