sorry about all the posts lately guys, i know these kinda questions are annoying but i need to know what hp my 84 250r is putting out , and a ballpark on its mph. it has k&n directly on carb, bored .030 over, dg slip on, 15 tooth front sprocket. how fast would it go?, and how much hp is it giving? would i have any descent gains with a reed spacer, new reeds, or a thiner gasket? any other cheap mods to concider? would my bike beat a stock 400ex as it is? thanks for your insight.
p.s. i think i might have an aftermarket carb, did the keihin pj carbs come stock on 84 r's?

84 R =28 horses, top end 65 miles a hour, my 84 will be throwing down close or at 45 horses when done, its a top-end power package from trinity, iam writting up a thread on .org about it, the whole kit cost 564 out the door, its a 272cc motor, pro/mx port job for VERY VERY aggresive mid to top band, the head is being milled to 19cc and beign turbo cut, end of the night it should have 210psi it will have a k/n ari filter, bolted to the back of a 34mm carb that will be jetted by trinity for peak performance, if you want keep a check up at .org in performance forum under R guys and tri-zs come in.

yes thats a stock carb, it should measure 30mm, right now iam not sure if iam sticking on a 85 carb to my 84 or if iam going to have them bench flow/ bore it to 33 mm and just jet it up

o yours should be at probly 68-70 with the 15 tooth from sprocket, but a stock R would whip yah in acceleration

If the R is stock it will run much better from bottom on up with a smaller front sprocket. 15 tooth is just to much for an stock air cooled R and for the liquid cooled R for that matter.
