I'm triyng to change my valve seals right now and I got the rocker arm pin out of the intake with little problems, now the exhaust one is giving me a little trouble.
I was trying to pull it out with a bolt and the bolt broke off flush with the pin, so I tried drilling a little hole in the broken bolt, then using a left handed drill bit to try to get that broken bolt piece out. It didnt work, it doesnt catch.
The only thing I can think of to do now, is to drill a larger hole in the pin, and tap it. Then buy a new pin from yamaha. A guy at work told me to heat it up with a heat gun to expand the aluminum and the bolt will come out easier, a little late for that though...
What else should I try? or should I just drill, retap, extract, then replace?
