Hey just looking through the board and see where some show their finds. I got my first trike a couple of months ago or so. I had been trying to get one for about a year, and actually wanted a Honda. My friend called because he knew I was looking and he had bought this 1985 that morning for $100. He was wanting to make some money so I looked at it and had no problem giving him $200. I have only gotten to trail ride in some local strip mine ground once and am planning to go in the next 2 days again. I had to put new rear axle bearings and a new light bulb in the front. Starts on the first or second pull and runs strong. Smokes like a fiend though. It gets oil at the muffler outlet and dots the rear plastic. I need to get in it and find out about rings and such. as you might see the forks are bent some. They mounted a nice front tire backwards. I have a friend that does appolstery (sp) and he can put me a new seat cover on. Need front brake work and small stuff like grips, broken brake levers and such but I am happy.Might talk to you all again about electrical and top end questions in the future. We have an '85 honda 70 for the kids last year also. Hope my ride with the quads goes good in the next couple of days. Those guys laugh about trikes but the heck with them.

Nice score! Please, Please change that front tire around. lol I think if it smokes like you say it does it's time for a top end job.

The plastics on it look to be in good shape and I'm sure if you look in the classifieds here or ebay you will find a set of forks pretty cheap too. All in all it looks like you got a good deal. good luck with it.
