185S silencer question

the silencer on my 185s fell off and i was wondering what damge can be cause by riding it with just the head pipe, i havent rode it yet and dont plan to like this, but i wanted to know if i bought this silencer:

if i would have to buy the core and packing or could i just run it like this.
The silencer that fell off and was lost went straigh through with no core or packing and though it was a little bit loud it lasted and i rode my 200S for 8 months with no problems from it till my rings burnt up,

cmon guys i really need some help, what im asking
1. what will get damaged by running the trike with just the head pipe
2. if i get the 50 dollar silencer will i need the core or can i run it gutted without damage to the engine?

running without a silencer is hard on the exhaust valve.. the hot gases just rush past without any back pressure to slow things down.. resulting in eventually a burnt valve seal and a stuck valve and a ruined timing chain.. valve.. and at worst a piston. kinda like a timebomb with no timer.

if you want a cheap way out... look on e-bay for a stock exhaust . complete and in good shape.. not alot of bang for the buck with a 185 and a suppertrapp.

so i shouldnt buy that super trap? there was a stock exhuast but its rusted out and it was too quiet with way to much restriction
im not worried about neighbors and noise
i only need the silencer but if i bought that with no core would it still eat up the exhuast valves????? oh and will it result in a power loss????
