R upgrade decisions......need advice

My R definatly needs some new tires, it has the stock ones on there now. I can't decide between Turf-tamers or the HF-245's (flat track racing). I rarly do any, even rometly "rough" trail riding on the R, thats for my 300ex to do..... 95% of the riding I do is on loose dirt or gravel. Anybody who has either of these tires could help me out with their opinions.
The second thing is perhaps a new racing exhaust. I was thing of getting a DG Xtreme ATV exhaust. Cool stait pipe look, and chrome. It's $218 on denniskirk. Anybody who has this pipe or a simliar pipe tell me if it's worth the cash for the extra power, and tell me what it's like riding with that thing next to your leg!!! any advice is appreciated! :beer

I have both sets of those tires and I race flat track. I run the turf tamers 90% of the time. For the price, get the turfs. If you want something that bites even better get the new holeshots.

That is a TRX 250r pipe im pretty sure, if you do loose gravel n flat stuff, turfttamers or razers!

i have turftamers and they hook up extremely good, and * always have the option of cutting the tread for your own design, plus there extremely cheap

don't buy the dg,if it's a performance pipe you want go with a paul turner,or a eddie sanders pipe.the extra money is well worth it.my paul turner high rev is far from just a top end pipe.it is a great all around pipe as well as a great high end pipe.23% gain over stock!!!!!jmo

if you got that pic from dennis kirk, that pipe is for a polaris (scrambler i think).
id go with a esr pipe.

yea that is not an atc pipe. I think you can get the esr pipe and silencer for about 300.00. there products are all great. I have one on my 86r and im very impressed

I have the ESR as well, it's awesome. Major power increase over my old DG pipe. If you took the pipe you pictured and put it on a 3-wheeler it would hit your front tire.

no doubt about it, thats an TRX pipe. Don't buy any of the DG pipes for the 250R if you dont have the cash for the paul turner pipe go with the FMF Fatty its much better than a DG, I know this from first hand experience, as far as the Turf Tamers go, they are good tires but the Holeshots are much better.

dg doesnt even make one of those (xtreme atv exhaust pipe) for the trx250r.
in the dennis kirk catalog under that pic there is a part number and it is for a polaris scrambler 400 2x4/4x4, sport 400L 94-03
