I figured out Im going to use a 250r rear end in my 426. Just bought a swinger and carrier off of ScottZJ. I also got a pair of barely used 18x11x10 Fast Trekkers off of ebay for 35 bucks, and a RPM Dominator axle for $125. Talk about wide(49 inchs)! Cant wait to get it all installed and hit the track. :D

Awesome! I've read that 50" is the max legal limit for most tracks. I'm planning on having the 500 every bit that wide. Wider IS better!

Sounds cool Derrick, what parts(swingarm, front end, plastics) are you gonna use?
Toyota I started with a stock 2000 YZ426, and installed 1986 Kawasaki Tecate forks/tripple trees on it by punching out the T3 steering stem and installing the 426 one. I cut the subframe and modified it so you sat lower, Im planning on making a new one soon that sits even lower (still too top heavy). I had a tecate rear end on it also but decided to change that to a 250r rear end. Here soon its also getting a oversized header, Boysen Quickshot Accelerator Cover, Custom silencer, new seat(not enough padding), Scary Fast Power Now Carb inserts, Front suspension mods, and some cool looking bolt ons. Its a beast!

man that thing is WIDE! Here I thought I was accomplishing something with my +4 I had in my Z. Looks like I'm gonna be needing that AND wheel spacers!

I'm using the stock CR swinger, just pulling it in and welding mounting plates on it for the Banshee carrier. Plan on getting an X-33 axle assembly for it. Keeping the CR forks and using 250R triples (borrowed that from Louis). I'm building a sub frame from scratch to suite my tastes. I want to get that seat height down some too. All 250R plastics for me.
When you get that seat pan designed, give me a shout. I can get you fixed up with whatever thickness and density foam you need and cover it.

That was the only thing I thought the 426 needed at TF, a wider axle. Should be a lot of fun on the track now!
