225dx wont shift down

hey everyone. my 225dx wont shift down all the time. seems like if * wiggle it around enough it will shift down for awhile but then it quits. right now its stuck in second gear. anyone know how to solve this problem.

Did you adjust the clutch adjusment screw on the side of the of the motor near the oil filter?
