Hello i'm new here. Anyway i got a 83 200x and when i got it, it had a 4 ft axle on it but it was bent a bit. so i found another axle for it BUT my hubs wont fit. the splines on my new axle is smaller than the old one, so this brings me to my question. Is the rear hub splines different on the 85 200x than the 83 or 84 200x?
Thanks

Hey! Welcome!
Ok first we need, what kind of axle you got for it? Where did it come from? Because as far as I always knew, these hubs were the same. So this would be a new one for me. In fact, you could just about use any hub from any of the trikes with the exceptions of the 350's and the R's.

I got a stock axle but don't know what year it is. The honda dealer said the 85 200x had different axle #'s then the 83, 84.

On stock axles the hubs are all the same. What might be the deal here is the axle you had ( 4foot axle ) could be a aftermarket axle that uses different hubs. Do you still have this axle? If you do can you post a picture of it? Also would you be interested in selling it? I would send you the correct hubs as part of the deal.
Thanks

Yeah i fiqured the hubs were bigger on the 4 ft then stock. but i just wanted to make sure before i ordered 2 new ones. And Howdy you wouldn't be interested in this axle because the middle of the axle where the bearings lay is wore and needs to be machined up. Also the right hub was welded on.
