200x exhaust manifold?

I just got my '85 200x a couple weeks ago and i noticed that the exhaust manifold was leeking at the block and it was real loose from the plate that bolts it down. i tryed tightening it and it didnt work so i took it off and seen that there was no gasket. all atv's and atc's that i have worked on have had gaskets. could someone email me if it is or isnt supose to have one. luv4wrestling86@aol.com thanks for the help!

yes its suppose to have a rolled copper gasket inbetween the head and header pipe
