One 84-85 Tecate Shock Left In The Usa

I went through K&H Kawasaki for my clutch Parts. They have a Part finding system that Locates Parts from dealers from all over the country. I asked about a rear shock for my 84-85 Tecate and he found the last one left in the country. $800.00 IS THE COST OF THE SHOCK.

I figure I can have a Aftermarket Rear Shock made for less. You would think they would want these parts off the shelf but they wond lower the prics.

Last year I asked about the rear Brake line and that was over $100.00. The Guy at K&H tried to chew the guy down and no dice. Makes no sence to me why they wont lower the Price so they can get these parts off the shelf. $800.00 can buy you a sweet Aftermarket Shock. Why would anyone pay $800.00 for a 20 year old shock?

I need a good Tecate Clutch Basket and he said thwere are none left. E-Bay here I come. :w00t:

WOW, that is salty. You could get a raptor shock for your Tecate also. Actual raptor 660 not a raptor 350 or whatever they are called. Whats the matter with you clutch basket?

I would also check and see if barnett has a clutch basket. And I could have my shock rebuilt for $200 or so, I dont see the point in buying a 20 year old shock either for 800.
