hey.. if you don't mind " Red-Neck tech's "... go to walmart and buy some crazy carpets.. basicall sheets of red plastic used to slide around on snow hills... cheap strong as hell and the color is just about the same.

keeps the mud off.

that oil cooler is pretty trick. If you don;t mind seeing how they routed it for me it would be appreciated. I always figured one line from the drain plug and Ive had no idea how to route the oil back the motor

I've seen worse, those arent to bad at all. The second one looks like its front forks are tweaked inwards some. Other then that, nice find. The 84's are pretty rare.

Yup... Not bad at all for what you paid. Esspecially since you get the oil cooler. :naughty:

both lines go from the cooler up under the gas tank and down into the side case of the motor right next to each other the guy that had these was a mechanic and he used them to tow junkers into the garage from the yard.

the forks on both i beleive are shot on the one if * lift the front end off the ground the one side drops the other forks on the other bike are cut with what looks like a grinder,i was thinking of just welding the bottom of the forks to the top this bikes on gonna be used to pull deer outta the woods for the most part

I've only ever seen about 2 in person before. They are a one year only deal. Shaft drive and reverse 200. Way more of the 200E's, and 250ES's in comparison.

I was just checking parts for them on ebay and there wasent much but some of the parts were pulling in hefty bids.

anyone know if the forks off a 250 big red or another trike will work on this bike?

Hmm.. well then maybe we shouldnt ride our '84 Big Red and ride the '83 instead.. lol. The '84 is in mint condition.. no scratches on the plastic.. theo nly thing wrong with it is the rusty header (it happens) and the racks are starting to chip. I posted pics of it earlier. Search "A few pics..".
