Yesterday, A couple friends and I spent a few hours on my 2 3wheelers in the field across the street. I spent most of my time on the newly acquired 200 and they swapped turns on the 185s. A couple times, we had "competative" events. We raced around the old football field and had a drag or two. Keep in mind, the 185s is named "Ol' Smokey" for a reason. She smokes like a 48 Mack climbing a mountain. The 200 is in excellent running condition and pulls like a train on low end. But side by side they were pretty much even. I was shocked!! I can't wait to rebuild Ol' Smokey and see what she'll do. :D

P.S. The 200 has an aftermarket pipe but otherwise stock.
The 185s is completely stock except for a 10t front sprocket.

if you think about it, its only 15cc's difference, and you can put the 200 top end on the 185s bottom end
also, you can take the 200x motor and drop it into your 185s frame with no problems and have yourself a 185S-R lol
good luck

Both motors are rated at @ 10hp - the 185S mill actually has higher compression stock - a smoking motor might have slightly less .... or more actually, depending on whats "smoking" lol. Honda claimed the 192cc 200 motor had a little bit more torque than the 180cc 185S. I say Whatever - during your 185's rebuild, drop in a Wiseco 10.25:1 mid comp and you'll really see a difference.

When I had my old 185s is flew it would go 85 Km stock. Then it was stolen :( so we bought a 200. The 200 I noticed didnt go near as fast, 73-74 K topped right out. I also prefered the 185, I found it easier to manevuer and and drive. Would'nt be surprised if the 185 beat the 200. :TrikesOwn

hey i got a 185s and my bud has got a 200 as well. he beats me on top end. he has those balloon tires and i have strykers. we have talked about it and it was agreed that if he had the same rubber i would smoke him. that was last year....now he found two 185's and they are the most well kept originals i have ever seen and they wheelie like nothin stoppin them. those trikes are so clean they still have the paper 185 decal on the engine blocks.so now the 200 is "the beater" and the 185 are pulled out for special occasions.....like everytime we ride ..lol
