I have a 85 200X and the rear suspension squeaks pretty loud. The guy I bought it from said he had the shock rebuilt. Is there anything I can do to make it stop squeaking?

agreed, just another quick note. don't remember if the 200x had needle bearing swingarm bearings or not, but if so, be real careful when pulling the bolt. if they are needle bearings and are completely dry, you'll be searching for little needles for a week to put them back together.
when you go to pull the bolt out, put some grease on the threaded end. this will be carried into the needle bearing and will help to hold the needles in the bearing and hopefully keep them from fallin out on ya.
hope this makes since.
good luck,
steve

Try to figure out where the squeek is coming from before you start tearing things apart. I have found a couple of 350Xs that the top shock bolt squeeks. You can get some spray lube in there and it will quit for a while

Yeah, what he said. My top mount squeaks every once in a while too. A little WD 40 in there stops it.
