225dx wont start

hey everybody i own a yamaha 225dx that wont run. it has a fresh plug with good spark, i drained the old gas and put some fresh gas in it, changed the oil, and cleaned the carb. i cant find any reason for it to not run. it has pull and electric start and neither work. it had good compression but not that great currently so if anyone could help me please send me and email at honda_quads87@hotmail.com or post a reply. thanx

After you try to start it take out the plug, my guess is its dry. If you have spak its not getitng gas. You might want to buy a carb kit or try starting it with starter fluid. Also make sure the gas is turned ON. I had the same problem with my SX it just needed a carb kit now it runs like new.
