Hi has anyone made their own wiring harness?? Are they discontinued from honda?

hello stacey yes i have made a wiring harness for a klt 200. you will need to get the wiring diagram from the 3WW site http://www.3wheelerworld.com/WiringHonda.shtml and then go to Halfords (you have it in wales?)or any other car parts store and get yourself a load of wire colours (it says what colours to use on the diagram) and just work your way through it bit by bit. the best way to do it is to go wire by wire and cross them off on the diagram when you have done them. It takes alot longer than having a harness but if you cannot get hold of one its the way to go

Hi its for a 1986 atc250r I was just thinking that being as they are discontinued someone out there must have had a go at making theu own . i mean it cant be that hard ,,the only thing being the connections for the cdi..??

I am going to make the one for my 86 200X. I have looked it over and i think its going to be an easy task. just some time, possibly peices from the old harness for the plug ins?
