I just completed my 86 R and the only problem i am still having is with the front brakes. I rebuilt the caliper completeley(pistons, seals, slide boots and pads.) i also added a stainlisss steel braided line. The rotor and front master cylinder were not touched. My question is how much drag should the front wheel assembly have? My wheel spins ok, but wont freewheel very long if the front tire is in the air, seems to have some resistance. is that how they are supposed to work? Maybe a dumb question, but i am unsure at this point. Any R owners with info please speak up.

a disc brake set up will always have drag of some kind on it. any car with a disc brake set up has drag on the rotor. a drum brake set up you adjust to no drag on the drum.
