Hight= no more than 15"
Length no more than 15"
Width= no more than 18"

Do any engines fall within these specs that are chain drive? Here is what it is going to fit in so note the side the sproket is on.

I think a 80' air cooled cr 125 engine would be perfect.......no radiators, and its a right side drive engine.

I was thinking of a 250r but I doubt it would fit. So yeah I trust a 125 in it. Why wouldnt you trust a 125 in it?

Why wouldnt you trust a 125 in it?Because it was made to handle a go cart motor. I doubt it was ever intended for more power then 12hp. Now this doesn't mean that I wouldn't try and stuff something bigger in there. I'd try and find an auto clutch so you only have to figure a way to shift it and not worry about a clutch. A total bonus would be something electric start so you could start and stop it from the seat.

dude, that is so b.s., it could totally handle a old-ass cr125 motor....just brace up some beefy motor mounts and make sure yur rear end is solid and beefy with good bearings....one problem would be cooling, and the fornt part of the pipe that is basically a tube leading to the expansion chamber can be slightly modded, lengthened or shortened and it wont effect power or delivery enough to notice...actually check the classifieds, i have a blaster motor...

Find and older sled motor....make up some new mounts...n away you go...would rip with like a 440 in it haha

one problem would be cooling

This I have thought of 2 solutions for. Make a ram air type system that travels from the side to the engine and a funnel type that starts at the corners of the plastics on top and runs to the engine. Here is my attempeted drawling. The arrows point out the direction the tubes would travel.

if you use a liquid motor, just get a 125 dirtbike rad n cut a piece of the fender out on the front left or right and mount it in there.....wouldnt look too bad, but for air cooling i wouldnt worry about it, it will cool off fine, the brigs had no problem on them, and a sled motor has a fan on it anyways......if you use a bike motor with gears, best set up is a handel like a shifter kart........will see if i can find a pic..that thing would be cool as heck to have.....might have to fab one up haha.

Good luck fitting a sled motor and drive on the back of that. How fast do you want to go with this thing? An auto X motor would make that thing move pretty good. You'd also have less need for cooling solutions with and old 4-stroke like that.

How about a tri-moto 175 2 stroke motor? Reason being is it's quite a compact motor and I won a whole trike and it's too far gone I think to make it in to a good one.

I did not pick it up yet but the motor might be good. I am I think?? going to part the whole thing out but won't know for sure till I actually see it.

How fast do you want to go with this thing?.

Speed wise I want it to do atleast 55 mph. but I also want an engine that will make the rear powerslide. I know its crazy but I got plans for this thing :twisted:

hey hrc85250r if a blaster motor fits those dimensions I might buy yours. Does yours come with everything? ex. wiring, exhaust, carb, ect.

I think I'm gonna pull a harley type deal on the shifting. It'll have a foot clutch with the shifter running parrallel to my butt or a little higher on the left side (it will be welded to the stock shifter and bended where necesary. On the right hand side of the handle bars I'll have a twist throttle and on the left ill have the electric start and light switch if I put one on. This is going to be a fun project.

Quick question. I think I'll put a gas tank from a lawn mower or something on the right side next to the motor and have a fuel pump run the fuel to the carb. Sound good?

Did Honda make an auto X? I thought it was just something people built w/ 200s motors and 200x everything else. someone explain this too me.

they used to make a conversion kit to put your 200s motor in a 200x frame, useing everything from the 200x exept the motor..that is how my 200x originated..
