Installing front shocks and brake ass.

I just recieved my new Front shock ass. with brakes and need to install them on my 250ES .It looks easy enough,andy suggestions?Should i soak anything over night?Found brand new shocks,boots,brake assemblyw/front shaft for $100.00.
Any tips would be appreciated but looks easy!Thanks
