check it out, i just got done with my new swinger...i bought a nice stocker off ebay for 35$ including shipping, cut it obviously behind the linkage pivot, welded in some nice chromoly i had laying around, flap-disc'ed the surfAce of the welds off and had her blasted and pc'ed, i think it looks pretty cool and it work even better  .... this wasnt normal cr-mo just so you know it was thick wall and i cranked up the heat and feed on my welder, so i didnt grind the weld away to the point of weakening it...im not dumb. :naughty:

Very cool, but why is the back end squatting so much?

Was wondering the same thing?? You must be staring at the sky when you are riding. Have you tried lowering the forks alittle?

he probably needs to revalve his rear shock.

nope, i have the lowering link all the way down....my shock rides really nice, its a little stiff, but not bad....i will admit it is quite low, i used it for racing around an oval in a field by me, im gonna raise it a half inch or so and crank the preload up 6 or so turns and try that out, that +4 will add quite a bit of leverage on the spring....

that should be a wicked lookin R when you are hard accelerating... iam thinking plus four on my dune bike, let me know how it wheelies or if you can still yank the front up... i would like the feeling of still gettin it up in the front... (the bike of course)

I like your little brake hose clamps! :beer The 350X front rim is cool too.

You did a good job on the swingarm. That blue color is not bad. I like swingarms painted in that "almost chrome" color with the red PRO-LINK decals. I believe Blazer did one that way and it looked great.

Revalving won't help keep it up, you'd need a stiffer sping for a job like that. ;)

Looks good man, especially the baby blue. :p

hmmm,,, i was thinking the same thing about your brake hose clamps? Where'd you get them?

it looks awesome but it seems to me that your shock would be vulnerable to rocks stickin out the bottom like that.

i dont ride really rocky trails, so rocks arent a big problem.... i made the brake hose clamps at school on the bridgeport, i love the bridgeport!!!! and it is only about 5 or so pounds heavier max...its really not heavy at all compared to the stocker....i like the blue it isnt baby blue, its sky blue, and it matches my works shock perfectly, and its an old school 80's color, which is cool, and its not as light as it looks on the comp....

and i was thinking about doing it in that chrome powdercoat, but it is a bit more expensive and it doesnt look that great, i saw it on a chopper at the place i had mine done and it didnt impress me, but they might just suck at multi-stage powdercoating...
