Usually up all the way is run
The middle is half choke if it's hot out side or the engines still luke warm from riding
The third middle one is half choke, big surprise there...
Do you even know how a choke works or exactly what it does?????

yes
The point of the choke is to get more gas in the engine than air at first. This heats the engine up faster because it's burning more fuel. If you leave the choke on it floods the engine (too much gas).
When you touch the choke lever your actually moving a plate in the carborator that controls the amount of airflow to you engine.

There is MANY different types of carbarators, I'm no expert.... Some have spring some don't, I honestly don't know, but if I had to guess I'd say probably no springs.
Wear some glasses just in case, lol

when you pull the lever UP.. the choke is ON........ push it DOWN for no choke.

no springs will jump out and take your eye out.. but read up on carbs before you tear into it .. good idea !

if the plug is dry after a few pulls.. try removing the plug. with a spray bottle if you have one.. shoot a spray of gas directly in the plug hole.. put plug back in and try again. might be enough to get it going.

next step is to clean the carb
