Help with YT175 jets

How many turns should the jets be at for my YT175?

ya i had that problem also. my owners manual says pilot airscrew 1 1/4 turns out and the idle screw on mine is nearly closed but my yt175 has been bored so it may not be the same

k, wheres the pilot airscrew on my carb?

its the small gold screw right above the large idol screw you will need to use a flat head screw driver to adjust it

would a symptom of a pilot airscrew set wrong be that it only runs with the choke on? cause thats the problem im trying to fix.

you may want to open up the big idol screw a bit more in order to allow more gas in, sounds like that could be the problem. but yeah, just screw around with them for a bit you will eventually find a setting that works.
