250SX & 250 ES (Big Red) brake levers

I did a part # check and the levers have different #'s between the two models.

They look identical to me though and can't see why they wouldn't be.

Only thing I can think of is mine (250SX) are black and the ES might be unpainted. Think that could be the case?

Update : I just :rolleyes: dawned on me to look at a few pictures and my assumption seems to be right.

All Big Reds - unpainted
All 250 SX's - black

About 90% of the Honda levers are interchangeable if that is what you are asking.

You are exactly correct. The levers, perches, and hardware for a sx are black. The stuff for a Big Red is silver. I am using a black set on my Big Red right now because that is what I had, and they work fine.
