350x ignition problems

all right i bought this sweet 350 x for 400$ and it ran good friday night and i woke up saturday and there was no spark, im getting plenty of power to run the lights but im getting almost nothing for the ignition comming out of the sator im only getting like .050 volts and then it goes in to the cdi box and then there is nothing?? i took the cover off and cleaned the contacts but that didnt seem to help none any one Know what the problem is ?

Sounds like your cdi box is shot.

check the pulse generator. not to often do the cdi's go bad. how is your coil?

i know its not the coil be cause there is no power behind it, it might be the pulse generator it looked a little worn...

maybe he was talking about the coil in your stator

well the coil in the stator doesnt power your ignition it powers your lights they are 2 differnt power sources
