Would this have to do with the jet or idle screw? My YT175 only starts up with the choke on and when i turn the choke off and try to give it some throttle it stalls. WTFS UP?

Its not getting enough gas, clean carb especially all the jets. But first check little settlement cap under petcock to see if it's full of crud.

When you take of the bottom of carb, there are two jets you have to back out with a screw driver. they will have a hole down the middle that needs to be cleaned and about 4 real small holes on the side that get plugged. Has this tike been sitting for a while?

Sounds like ...... thats right, for the 9 thousandth time ....... another victim of the always ugly "Intake Air Leak". Kidding aside ... I'm leaning twords an air leak ... but clogged fuel ports could always be an issue.

Nope, only a month, but before that it ran really well. I cleaned out the carb today really well, but i didnt take off the bottom. The jets are in the float?

AHAHAHAHA I forgot to tighten down the air box hose to the carb. Could that be it?

Jets are not in the float but in that vacinity. I'd take wickedfingers advice you could be sucking in to much air some where needing the extra fuel. Usually air leak giving you that trouble would be inbetween your carb and cylinder.

AHAHAHAHA I forgot to tighten down the air box hose to the carb. Could that be it?Probably ...... usually its an intake leak after the carb - but - you are mixing in, unfiltered, unmetered air - its leaning out your fuel charge just like if you were running no lid and didn't up-jet to compensate. You are having to use the choke to do just that, choke off enough air to let it run right with the fuel available.
