what to do?....R died on me today

was riding near the house and managed to blow the baffle out of my old silencer....then was almost to the house ans she just kinda started losing power and died......pushed her home,added some gas just to be sure and changed out the plug,and nothing......checked the plug for spark and it seems to be intermittent...doesn`t fire on every rotation of the motor.....any suggestions?
i have the honda service manual,and am considering swapping out the wiring harness with the one on my `86 parts trike,so i can try the cdi off it(since the plugs are different from `85 to `86)........HELP! :confused:

Could it be your stator? I has the same problem, and it was my coil, and it would only spark if you pushed the plug wire in hard.

UPDATE!!!!! would you believe water in the gas?..... :mad: ....anybody wanna buy my 5 year old?.......bet if i put him on Ebay they`d just pull the add....... :mad:

I don't think water in your gas would have anything to do with a weak spark. Try switching out your stator. I had weak spark and a new primary stator coil cured the problem.

Why on earth would your kid put water in the tank??? You should tell him it is no envirnment friendly hydrogen trike!!!
Does it run fine sence you tookm the water out???
