i know this may sound simple but i didn't want to break anyting or shear off any gears or teeth inside the engine. i have a breaker bar and the right size socket.

the nut is on there really tight so i didn't mess with it anymore untill i checked in here.

is it standard thread? reverse thread?

do i just put it in gear and have some one hold all the breaks on while i crank on it?

thanks

try an impact gun, its regular threaded, make sure you bend down the lock washer... if its still there. you shouldn need to put it in gear if the chain is on it still, just have a buddy or family member use both brakes and sit on it while you spin the nut off. the bigger the person the less likely youll move the bike with the bar if its really on there... hope it helps some

yah I was going to say that lock washer. Me and my own stupidity didnt see that. Gave me hell till I noticed it, I also did like tri-z racer said and had my dad sit on the trike while I did this.
