I know the 83-84R is VERY tough to find, but I have a friend who is an old timer retired machinist that needs stuff to do. He and I were kicking the idea around the other day of manufacturing swingarm bolts for old bikes/trikes/etc. Of course, I would need samples for a pattern. I have an 83 R one. Any other ones so hard to get? Anyone need an 83-84 one??

I would like a tiger front axle made. I understand probably not enough demand to get into something like that though. Ive checked my Napa / and bolt web sites for 5/8 bolts the right length with no success.

Hey trikeaholic, there is a guy on ebay that says he has the 83-84r swing arm bolts new. I bought a new one for my 85r and asked him what else he had, he said he had them for the old R's too. Might want to give him a shout. I will pm you his ebay name if you like..........peace
