85r axle questions

i bent the axle on my 85r this weekend.so i got on ebay and all i can find are ones for 86 and up.how do i get the sprokect hub off and put the one for the 85 back on?are they just a press fit?little heat, big hammer type thing?also if i pull the bearing carrier and axle from my 86,can i use the 85 swinger,rear caliper and brake stay?thanks for all the help,3leg

86 and up carrier won't fit in the 85 swingarm. If you have the parts just swap the whole 86 setup. I've never tried to put the 85 sprocket hub on an 86 or up axle so I'm no help there. I've never tried to take one off either.
