I'm also searching for an answer to this post. I always thought that any one you mentioned would work probably even one off an SX. Mine is cracked and melted back together. To bad maier don't make replacement plastics huh? Or you can always go with the numberplate  ;)

Or you can go to walmart and buy a set of Truck lights for like 20 bucks.. Mount em up and youre good to go. It works too because my friend has one on his snow mobile.

I had truck lights on my '85 X years ago. There isn't enough juice to run them both but one will work just fine. If you can find the right bulbs you can make two work.
There is a way to make a 350x light work as I've seen it done before. Not sure how it was done though. I just assumed he was using the 350x lighting coil but I have never really messed with the lights too much. A friends father got the truck lights working on my X, not me.

I thought that trikes had a regulator to keep revving from popping bulbs... maybe your machine is missing something. My 110's bulb stays the same brightness no matter if it's at idle or redline.

By simply adding a Volt pack you can avoid blowing bulbs ( 12volt system ). Also, I can get non halogen Bulbs that work in the 350x's and many other machines for around $3 each. In fact they are the only style I use in the machines they fit in. Sure I give up a small amount of light, but then I don't do much night riding anyway. ;)

running a bulb at low wattage won't hurt it.. just dimmer.
Problem with high wattage bulbs and trikes with batteries.. is they suck alot of juice and the light drains more than the charging system can provide to the battery... one and your ok.. 2 x 35 w is pushing it .. anymore and it's too much.

Are the 2 bulbs wired in series or parallel ?

I think they are in a series 3 wires for each bulb, im really not sure what you mean, I cut the round the plugs off the x wires, put the male flat ends on and plugged in the round r plug
