Just wondering if the plastic/rubber fuel line going from the tank to the carb is made of some special material??? I bought some regular tubing from home depot....will it work? or will the fuel eat through it??? It didnt say anything about not using it for gas, just not to use it with and ice maker...I guess it will bust if it freezes and expands. Should it be okay with fuel??? or should i get the "right" stuff??? Thanks!

it might be alright, but if it "melts" your carb is going to get pretty *****.
i just get fuel line from auto parts store. its less than $1 per foot.

I went to a few auto parts stores, but no one had clear line, just the black stuff. I guess that will have to do. I have the clear on there from home depot now and it seems to be holing up okay, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I guess I should get the black line.

Or just jack one off of an old four wheeler, then worm-clamp it. That's what I did, works like a charm.

That clear from home depot is pvc,it will work but it will turn hard as a rock. You can get good 1/4 inch goodyear black rubber at autozone of you want black. The best fuel line that is see through is tygon. You can get it on ebay or most lawn mower shops use it for weedeaters or chainsaws in smaller sizes .Most of the places around here have it in big enough for the 3 wheeler.Any of the urethane like dennis kirk has in blue will still eventually harden.I havent had the tygon harden at all.Its made by dupont.Reall good stuff. There are alot of colors on ebay.
