electric start for 350x or 200x

I'm considering buying the goki electric start kit for my 350x. Does anyone have one? Are they any good? Any cons?

From what ive seeeeeen, the only "cons" are you have to buy your own battery and mount it and youve got a buldging starter ont he side of your case......but if you ask me, it is 110% worth it. I think 350X's shoudlve came with E-Starts stock in 86, thank god for Goki ;)

been there.. had one.. it comes with a battery tray, but of course no battery.. they only last about 3-4 years with normal use and are only 40 bucs.. but if your x starts 1st-3rd kick you dont need it, especially for hte weight it adds.. and if you mod your motor, its not going to crank it..

I have a goki starter on my 350x and love it!Probably because it has a 452 big bore kit in it and a high performance web cam,among other things.after i was put on crutches for 4 days from trying to kick start it i bought one,and now its just a push of a button.I had the mechanic rig up a lever(on the handlebars)and cable down to the decompression(replaces the original cable)on top of the motor.The kit says to push the kick lever down a little to engage the decompression cable so it will start,but i went a different route.much easier to pull the lever and push a button sitting down than standing with your leg pushing down on the kick lever and pushing the start button without taking the chance of it kicking you back!been there done that...ouch!James lucky has them for a 200x also.I had to go with a bigger battery to turn it over,yuasa ytx-12,i believe it is.
