Ok, on my 225dx, i took off the filter and oh my god, it looks like no one ever changed that thing, there is so much sand like garbage in there, i want to change it instead of cleaning it this time, where can i buy one?? and when i do clean what solvent do you guys use?? and how about inside where the filter goes can i clean in there with a solvent?? and when it comes back to puttin oil in there do i just unscrew the cap that has the oil level chack pipe on it??

Thanks cause i am so new and clueless about this?

Engine Oil and Tranny oil=same. I would put the oil in the place where you check it.

Yep, just fill it in through the dip stick hole. 1.9qts. 20-40W is reccomended. I use a lighter oil in colder condtions. Oil filters can be found in a dennis kirk catalog or web site.

My 110 doesn't even have an oil filter correct? How much oil does mine take, and do i use 20w-40? i though i use like 10w-30?

the 110 uses a screen that you have to take the engine apart to clean, so i dont clean mine. it uses .95, or close, quarts. i use 15-40
