What's a 84 or 85 kxt250 worth?

What is the value of a kxt250, 84 or 85? I've got a neighbor that is selling a complete, clean one that I can have first shot at. I'm looking at just flipping it for some cash for other projects. Since I haven't ever followed kxt's I don't really know the market for them. Just checking to see if it might be worth picking it up for some quick cash.

It is hard to say really without pics of it. I paid 350 for mine when it was non running and the plastic was beat up and the tires didn't hold air. Also the headlight was missing. Does it have a disk front brakes or a drum? drum is 84 and disk is 85. I finally got mine running and I was really surprised how much power she has. It will pull the front end in every gear but 5th. I say if the price is right go for it. I may actually have to be selling mine because of a new major purchase, it is sad if I sell her I will really miss it.

I paid 800 for mine, 84 with the 85 front-end. It has a few motor mods and will pull the front end up in every gear. I thin if you have a Mint one you could see 1200-1500. That also depends on your location.

Look on ebay, there are a 3 on right now. For a stock T3 in really good shape, its very suprising to see one go for over $1000. They just don't have the same appeal as the 86-7s. Use the price of the ones on ebay as a referance to get your neighbor to lower his price if hes asking more than you think its worth. They are great machines though, you'll be very pleased with it.
