Just a quick question...will 25'' tires fit on a yamaha ytm200 ?And will they fit a yamaha 225 with rear suspension or will they rub? Also if they do fit on a shaft drive machine will they take away top speed ot torque?

Yes, ytm200s come stock with 25" tires but they are a 9" - 4 bolt rim while the 225 has 8" - 3 bolt. Not sure on the availability of 25" tires to fit on an 8" rim though, most ones I see on 8" rims are 22" tall.
I have 22" on my 225 & have no clearance problems heightwise but I did turn the rims inside out to get a little more clearance widthwise. 25" tires might be pushing it when you bottom out the suspension though.
25" tires will give you more top speed & less torque. 22" is the opposite.

The YTM 200 Yamahauler came stock with 25's. The YTM 200 Tri- Moto did not.
That had 22X11X8's on.
225 came with 22X11X8's also.
You do NOT want to put 25's on these machines. That's way to much tire for them and on the 225 I know for sure they just fit as I bought a 225 with them on. They do rub the front mud flaps when suspesion bottoms.

I think Huffa was talking about the rear. The 225 has flaps in front of each rear tire.
