I got the Zinger running today but the Oil Injection doesnt spring back, Probably due to the Throttle Cable Sticking a bit. I was wondering how is the Oil Injection Disabled, but without taking the Parts off. I want to leave it so I can put her back to Stock for future buyers. I would just feel more comfortable mixing the Gas myself than relying on that Oil Injection System.

well couldnt you just mix the fuel yourself and not have to worry about the injection?
just dont put oil in the injector and plug off the little line that runs to the cylinder-like the fitting on the cylinder itself for the oil line and your good to go.

Thanks, I just wasnt sure If it would pump air and that might be bad. I cant wait to have this little tricked out ride rippin on my lawn racing my niece with my Tecate after I teach her how to ride. I think I can take her. Then shes up for sale.
It will not suck air till it goes to hell from running with out oil in it.
If you wish to use it again you must pull it and block off the hole.

You just have to make sure you're not sucking any air into the crankcase and you will be fine. Does anyone know if the injector block off kits sold for the Blaster will work on the 175 motor?.

On my jetskis we just dont put oil into it anymore and mix it ourselves. I dont see the need for a blockoff if you dont put oil into it its not going to work.

internal pumps
It will run fine till the pump goes to hell and it sucks oil out of the gear box.
or sucks air and leans it out to much. can we say bore job or new piston and cylinder.
I did a blaster. just cut a pease of aluminium plate 1/4 thick. Drill bolt holes and a gasket good to go. I just cut it square and grind to fit.

Ive been running mine with the pump still in, not the one im having problems with , the other one. Maybe i should take mine off and block it off. Turns out that without the cover on there its a big airleak.

How about you plug off the lines to the carb and leave the oil pump hooked up. Run the line that goes to the carb into the top of the oil jug. put some oil in jug. The pump still is pumping oil so it wont go bad . It'll just cycle the oil.

makes sence but i dont have a line that goes into the carb just goes straight to the bottom end. i have a feeling the guys at the shop ****** it up and didint hook up the hoses right.
