I really need to get this teqnuiqe ( sp? ) on video. It is harder to explain than it is to actually do it. I am willing to bet the video would only be 30sec to 1min long.

I don't have a 200s pull starter with the decompression mechanisim here. But if I did I could get video of it also. I do know they are a pain to put back together. I have done a couple, but I used words I shouldn't on each one.

i just cant figure out where the friction spring goes...does it go under the friction plate which holds the pawls and pawl springs in? or does it go above? I Know one end of the spring hooks through the big yellow thing, and hooks onto the metal piece which holds the decomp cable, but where the hell does the other one go?
ANy help would be appreciated, and sorry for the highjacking

by muscling it in i meant 2 guys holding it down while the other turns it to fit it in.

ok I'm getting extremely frsutrated. I've been winding it into the plastic rope holder and now I can do it every time. However I can;t get the spring to hook onto the hook in the case. Am I doing it backwards. Because the way I see it it's impossible to wind it down in the case. I have been taping the spring in and than setting it in the case but it wont catch. The last time this happened I gave up and it cost me 25$ at the shop.
