I just finished a full restore on a 85, I put red plastic and tank on it, with all the parts powder coated in original color, It looks frigin fantastic. but anyway I see alot of potential in that one also.

Worst looking? WTF even though it needs some fenders I think that tecate is something to be very proud of. It is not ugly at all If you don't want it I'll take it. lol

I still think you should restore it back to the original red. But who em I to say

I think i might just win with this rig. This is what happens when your bike is parked in a dam for several years... :rolleyes: Poor old 87 Bigred, and to think i was considering bringing it back to life. Check out the frame and rims especially, although it is "rough as guts", there is still plenty of good parts on it. The motor is actually in my trike now, yes she started up first time!!!

well heres mine....clarke tank , painted and bubbling, 200s forks with 200x front hub, 200x seat, right now its sporting 25" Realtors on alum rims with 250r hubs. Paint is flaking on the frame from spilled gas. oh yeh and the original exhaust is wrapped with vinyl siding trim coil and pop riveted and hosed clamped to stay on. But, it runs awesome and will go almost completely underwater, I really should do something with this thing :p

I don't part out any trike unless it's really, REALLY bad. To most I think this is a prime canidate for a part out disection but not me.

Here are the frame before shots and other parts of 84 200S. The whole trike was in this type of condition and still isn't finished but has come a LOOOOOOOONG way!

You are correct. I did that to prove that not every broke part is junk. A lot of times you can simply clean it up or make a simple repair and it will work fine. If I wanted to, I could clean that thing up and make a show worthy ride out of it, and no one will ever know it was built from junk.

yep, its a gun rack. and its very handy.
it also has
duct taped headlight
ripped off foot brake
and a large dint in the gas tank.
I still drive this thing but i just need a new chain becuase the chaincase touched the chain all the time and wore it out really fast. I took it off now though.

Fox250r, its the result of a 50 mph(each atc) head on colision. The guy on the x lived (but is messed up) the guy on the other atc (homemade 125) died. I just hope everyone can learn from it and realize it payes off to not drink and ride/drive, and ALWAYS PUT ON HELMET. If those 2 things would have been changed there would be 2 more atc riders around, insetad one is 6 feet under and the other is stuck on a wheelchair.

I have some machines that would rank right up there. These are non runners though, so I don't have any pics.

To me the Ugliest Trike should run and move under it's own power.

As a example: Take our quad we call "The Wrecker". This thing has been beat to death at least a dozen times ( and it shows ). Anyone that has been to Trikefest or has seen it knows this thing runs and is ride able. It has more jurry rigged items on it than it does stock items. It's been bent, twisted, broke, blown up, rolled, slammed into a tree ( quite a few times ), and more. But just like the energizer bunny it keeps going and going, and going. I haven't post a picture of it in this thread because it isn't a trike.

But to make the "Worst Trike on the site" more interesting, lets limit it to running and rideable machines. To me this could be interesting. And yes there are already some real good canidates posted. lol

this is my 83R. painted the fenders black with rattle can, welded on a 200x headlight, (I think). my seat cover is for a 200x but it was a freebie and a pain in the arse to put on. i think it is pretty ugly but hey it is fast! :w00t:

Nah, it's not that bad man, I would ride it in a heartbeat. I like the 2 tone colors on the engine.

We actualy straightend them up and rode it. Theres a before and after pic of the shocks. The bent axle we striaghtened also, and when it was on the bike it only had a slight wobble, and was only felt on hardpacked dirt.

Well we dont realy know what happened, I was there but everything is kinda blury.

I think the i rember the guy on the x riding a wheelie, brought it down and all you saw was yellow. No real time for a reaction, But why the guy on the homebuild was going straight twards him we will never know.

I don't have too many pics of it. Nothing current, that's for sure. I have one that is during the reconstruction, but before I got to the plastics. Maybe I will snap some pics of it this weekend. At least in this pic you know it's a trike. There is also a new piston, rings, and crank bearings since what I found was is pieces. This was one of the saddest projects I have seen so far. Everything needed work on it.

Well you came a long long way on it already - good job!

I can't believe how far back the motor sits on those! There must be no weight on the front at all hardly? Like 70R/30F or something.

This is my old 200m before I gave it some TLC The fenders were faded to pink, it didnt run, burnt almost 1/4 quarts of oil a day, and when I bought it, it had 2 different tires on the rear:lol: This definetly has to be #1:twisted:

Alright heres my 84 200x with a cr250r engine.Yes the framerail is cut out and yes it was a 1 day job.You should have seen the look on peoples faces though when it blew by their brand new quads.:)

Yeah I still have it.Well I should say I still have all the parts to it.The idea of fixing it up to make it look real nice as well was trashed after I discovered there was not going to be any one good way to mount the engine on the frame and support it well.I have been thinking about trying it again though....:twisted:

Heres my 200s
has over 100 rivets holding the fenders together.
Also has a large dint in the tank, my dad put the boots to it when it wouldnt start:lol: The dint also doubles as a handy place to put your knee.
