How much is an '85 Honda 350X worth?

a guy i work with wants to sell his '85 350X and wanted to know what it would be worth... its in Great shape, runs fine and is still on the stock tires. so if you guys could help me out... just an idea of what this bike would be worth would be helpful.

If it's really nice I'd say around 14-1800. If it's a gem then alot more.

well i'm not looking to buy a 350x so it doesnt matter how much you want for yours... i'm trying to get a good idea of how much one is worth because i'm trying to SELL my friends, i want to get as much as possible because he's cutting me in on the deal... sort of like a finders fee.

thank you all for your help giving me a price... i am going to try and post some pics of it this weekend, maybe this would give you guys a better idea of what the value would be.

I love it when people that are not even looking to buy post OUTRAGEOUS "worth" on a machine and **** it up for someone else. I say these types of question posts by a newbie should be deleted as soon as they are found. Example. "some guy has a 3 wheeler, and all his friends have quads. they pressure him to 'just get rid of that POS' and they find a 3 wheeler message board. They think ' wow these morons might pay me huge money for this dinosaur, and I can get that totally rad 250X, Wolverine or Bayou 220 that the salesman said is wicked awesome fast!'... So a buddy says 'lets find out what its worth and hammer some old dude!!!' So they make a post and immediatley some tool tells them "HEY ITS WORTH A TON OF MONEY!!! DONT TAKE ANY LESS THAN $2000!!!" the funniest part is that they (the replier) think they are doing our hobby a favor, when they are hurting it.
