I just finished stripping my cases, it took me about 5 hours total of time to do all three. That includes the 1-3 beer wait in between applying the paint stripper. I used NAPA paint stripper, the brush on type, its water rinsable, very good stuff. I was impressed, i used a small stainless wire brush and 2 small plastic bristle bruses and it all came off nice. take a look, tell me what you think. I was thinking about getting some 0000 steel wool and maybe making a little shinier. any ideas?

try some 600 grit to 2200 grit sand paper. If you want the best alm. polish on the market buy X-treem wheel polish or wizard wheel polish, these 2 products are the best of thier kind (i.e. hand polishing polish) anyone that has tried it has been amazed. Mothers polish is about as good as dirt is for polishing alm. compared to these 2 products. Hope this helps.

i said above i was only gonna make them shine a little, not spend days polishing them, after the motor goes together it will get a coat of polish and thats bout it, id rather spend my time riding, rather then polishing

You can also try any custom wheel shop. We carry the stuff and it sells like crazy. One person will try it , then tell thier friends, so on and so on. Word spreads fast and we have a hard time keeping enough in stock. Since you are not looking for that super shine just stop where you are now and by some of the polish I mentioned and you will be amazed, you may even get alittle more shine than you like. Just keep polishing until you get the look you want.
