Heres a few pics of the Black Sunshine project. It took over a year to revive and was alot of fun.
Just installed 85R fenders, two-toned the front fender with honda "H" logo, stainless vented headlight, flamed tank, cut honda wings in rear number plates, custom seat, and "atc" tail light........ :)

Sweet..... I wonder if we could ever talk OCC, UniqueWhips or that show "Build or Bust" to make offroad trike creations? You'd be a shoe in!

Wow!!! That is nice. But what is it... A 250r with a 300 kit or a 350x. Whatever it is it's beautiful. Something to be very proud of.

It's definatly 2 stroke judging by the pipe..but it looks bigger then a 250 engine..

Sweet! Very nice!

Do you like the tall bars? I would have went with low rise bars, but it looks good.

It looks like a 250R in a 350x. Or a 250R with a 350x headlight. Very nice either way. Will we ever get to know how much this set you back? :naughty:

Taste, ya got real good taste there. Colors are balanced out great. Love the diamond plate grab bar and aluminum schrouds.

Love the 2 tone flames. Not a fan of flames at all but on yours, like them very much.

All ideas came together nice.

Nicest one I have seen so far.

I don't like the tall bars either though. Looks out of porportion. Maybe get oversized bar adapters http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/item.aspx?style=6622&department=656&Division=6 then put on a nice set like these gun metal Renthals? They are much lower but you must take into account the adapter raises them 3/4 to one inch.

Thats pretty darn good if that's all I can find to pick on! :D

By any chance, would you be interested in making me a grab bar like that for a 225?

Wow, that looks totaly awesome!!! Great job!!! The skull on the tank is a nice touch!

I kinda like the high rise handlebars, it adds to the unique look.

That thing is amazing, but I really don't like the bars at all. You should swap them out with some nice renthals. Great looking R.

Basicly started with the rear, found out the trike came with a westcoast swingarm, aftermarket spring and extended dura-blue axle.
Here's a after pic. Had to machine the axle and build-up the axle bearing surface. Then polished and clear-coated it as well as the swing-arm.
Had to remove and lathe out the swinger bearings. Then dads got a set for me. Also installed new pads, sprocket, ect..

Mockup;
Installing later model fenders. Had to graph two seats together to fit the stock tank. Then redo the mount pads and latch.
Then started sand-blasting the frame.

http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3926

After 300 lbs of sand the frame got painted. Now for the fun.
Going together;
Got the swinger on, lubed the bearings and pivots with full syn grease. Then there was a set of tapered steering head bearing and got the same.
Spent a little time polishing the forks and tripples
Got a little more done. The front hub got some work, then playing around with the headlight. Got the twist throttle polished, and pipe bbq painted. Spent some time finishing the seat, molded the foam and attached the material.

http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3927

It's on all three now.
All the aluminum was polished, widened 200s bars with twist throttle and new grips, new fork seals, brake pads, wheel bearings, ect...
Rebuilt the westcoast swingarm and durablue wide axle. Modded 86' 350x rear wheels. The airbox got a new lid and now has clear sides. Just added double wide footpegs.
Made a grab bar, revived the silenser and pipe, and added a electronic speedometer and 250r emblem.
Bent up some diamond plate fresh air intakes, polished the stainless rotors.
Too much fun.

http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7430

Finally got the engine in, had to use a different rear sprocket for the chain to fit.
Also made a tool can out of stainless. Love the double wide pegs. Basicly just waiting for the tank to get painted..

If there is any trike nicer than that 250r, then it is your 350x. I love the color scheme on that thing
