Simple but can someone confirm?

ON an SX.. or 250ES. after a few hours of running, is your oil dip stick BURNING hot... ?

I assume so as it's made of metal.. threaded into the bock that's attached to the head.... but mine was HOT !!!! :eek:

( I"m sure when i read this again in the morning.. sober...it won't be such an important question.. but at the moment !! :D )

maybe i should add.

15 ish celcius temps. sundown. open fire road, 5th gear running mid throttle.. stopped for about 10 minutes... is when i noticed how hot she gets.

ya it should get hot, just as long as the headpipe doesnt glow orange i think you'd be alright
