Tri Z brake Lights??

I bought a complete front end from oddball3. I noticed that the front master cylinder had a small switch. Is this swtich for brake lights? If so how do you hook up the wires to the tail light. Does anyone know what this switch could be for?

i dont think the tri z's had bake lights, i thought they just had a running lights, cause there is no wires or anything coming from the foot brake pedal. must be from something else besides the tri z, maybe another yamaha that had brake lights That thing in the picture is surely for lights, when the brake lever is pulled in it connects the circuit from the light to the ground and voila... brake lights. It would be cool to put functioning break lights on the Z

i have brake lights on mine, i just wired it to the tailight pigtail

i didnt know they had them, just thought they were running lights, mine didnt have a tailight when i bought it, so i wouldnt know for sure
