I'm new to the board and did a quick search and I didn't see anything that matched exactly, so don't blast me if it's already been mentioned. If you have a cracked fender, a hole in your tire, your case leaks a little oil and you want to seal to stop it, etc. You've got to try Shoe Goo. It needs to be the original formula. I've used the marine version and it's not as good as the original. I've fixed my rear fenders 3x over the past 2 years with cracks over 5" long. I did use bailing wire to hold the two pieced together at the start of the crack and a few along the way, but my next one I'm going to go without the bailing wire. You just apply liberally and let it set up overnight. Presto, its fixed. I've also used it to patch a tire that had large branch puncture, sure it takes overnight but it held up for years until I eventually sold the bike. My son's little lt50 had a small leak out of the middle of the two case halves, I drained the oil, used a little thinner to clean off the bottom of the case and again applied liberally and now no more oil spots in the garage. Great thing is when I finally do get around to splitting the cases and fixing the problem correctly, it comes off by just rubbing your thumb hard against it. No tool box should be without a tube of it. Take it for what you will. :D
